Materialism - The theory\philosophy that says, shit has to be either physicly there, or explained by chemical reactions.

So, even your thoughts and emotions are just a chemical reaction and a explainable reaction.
Seems kinda logical?
And I have to bring up a quote from the book that inspired me to digg in to this, the new "Harry Hole" book. In English, ya'll!

Seems about right to me, but i'm not sure if it saddens me that my thoughts and emotions are mere chemical reactions, thus not "real" - or if this makes everything ok, but a bit pointless. So it's either like "everything's meant to be" or "fuck it, whatever".

Anyway: I do not dare thinking this through, or philosophize deeper into it. It's kinda like thinking about why and how the universe and all that was made, and that's a one-way ticket to deepshit-insanity.

Unable to decide quite what I think about this (Also I think the most comments i had counts 4 or somthing) much appreciation goes to anyone charing their thoughts on the matter =)
